How this works

The Analyzer runs 18 statute-mapped rules against your deal (each tied to a Compliance Library cell citing the statute) plus 5 affordability checks: buy-rate markup, payment-to-income, negative-equity crossover, implied APR, and total cost of ownership. Findings are labeled GREEN (looks fine), YELLOW (watch this), or RED (walk-away flag). Info items add context on rights you should know.

What the Analyzer doesn’t do: it works from the numbers you enter, not from your actual Buyers Order paperwork. It cannot read a photo of your contract or catch verbal promises the salesperson made, and it runs 18 rules where the full engine runs 144 with your state’s statutes cited line by line. For that, the $49 Out-the-Door Audit is the deeper review.

TAVT base: Georgia sets the base at the retail selling price less your trade-in (and any rebate on a new vehicle), and for a new vehicle the statute says that price includes dealer fees such as the doc fee (O.C.G.A. § 48-5C-1). We compute it that way. Check the figure on your MV-1: a dealer that leaves the doc fee out is misapplying the statute, not making a choice.
