Welcome to Car Real Talk. I’m Manny Ruiz, and this site is owned and operated by Real Talk Media Group LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of Georgia (“RTMG,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are the ground rules for using carrealtalk.com and any products or services we offer through it. I’ve written them in plain English wherever the law allows. Please read them — they matter, and by using this site, you’re agreeing to them.

1. Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing or using carrealtalk.com (the “Site”), reading our content, subscribing to our newsletter, leaving a comment, or purchasing any of our paid products or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don’t agree, that’s okay — but please don’t use the Site.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Site or purchase anything from us. By using the Site, you’re confirming that you’re 18 or older and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.

2. Informational Purposes Only — Not Professional Advice

Everything on this Site — every article, guide, video, email, audit, consulting call, and database entry — is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing here is, or should be treated as:

• Legal advice
• Financial or investment advice
• Tax advice
• Mechanical or repair advice
• Insurance advice or a recommendation to buy or drop any specific policy

I spent years on the dealership floor and I know this business inside and out, but I am not your attorney, accountant, financial advisor, mechanic, or insurance agent. Before making a major financial or legal decision, talk to a licensed professional who knows your specific situation. You are always responsible for your own decisions.

3. Intellectual Property

The Car Real Talk name, logo, articles, guides, images, videos, email content, and all other original material on this Site are owned by Real Talk Media Group LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Here’s what’s fair game and what isn’t:

• You may quote up to 75 words of our content, as long as you clearly credit “Car Real Talk” and link back to the original page.
• You may not republish, reproduce, or redistribute full articles or substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission.
• You may not scrape, harvest, or use automated tools (including bots and AI training pipelines) to copy or extract content or data from this Site at scale for commercial reuse or model training. This does not restrict search engines indexing the Site, readers following and checking our citations, or accessibility tools.
• You may not use our name, brand, or content in a way that suggests we endorse you, your product, or your dealership.

4. Your Comments and Submissions

We welcome comments and reader submissions — real stories from real buyers make this site better. When you post a comment or send us content:

• You keep ownership of what you wrote.
• You grant Real Talk Media Group LLC a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use, display, reproduce, edit, and publish your submission on the Site, in our newsletter, and in our other media.
• You confirm that what you submit is yours, is truthful to the best of your knowledge, and doesn’t violate anyone else’s rights.

We reserve the right to edit, moderate, or remove any comment for any reason — including spam, abuse, false claims, or anything that could get either of us in legal trouble.

5. Affiliate Links

Some links on this Site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase — at no extra cost to you. We are straight with you about this. For full details on how we make money, which relationships we have, and our editorial independence policy, please read our Affiliate Disclosure page. It’s short, honest, and worth two minutes of your time.

6. Paid Products & Services

We currently offer the following paid products and services. All payments are processed securely through Stripe (see Section 7). By purchasing, you agree to the specific terms for each product below.

6a. $49 Out-the-Door Audit

• This is an informational consulting service only. I review your deal paperwork and give you my honest, plain-English assessment. It is not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice, and it does not guarantee any outcome in your negotiation.
• Your audit is an automated written review produced by the Real Talk rule engine from the document you upload, delivered by email within minutes of payment confirmation, and in any case within 1 hour. If no usable report is delivered within 1 hour of payment because of a technical failure on our side, you are entitled to a full refund of the $49 on request, in addition to the finding guarantee below. It is not a live consultation.
• Finding guarantee: if your delivered audit contains no actionable finding — no RED or YELLOW flag and no recommended action — email [email protected] within 7 days of delivery and we refund the $49 in full.
• Refund policy: If we fail to deliver your audit within 5 business days, you get a full refund — no questions asked. Apart from the finding guarantee above, once the audit has been delivered no refunds are available, because the work has been done and the value delivered.

6b. $99 Buyer’s Advocate Call

• This is a 45-minute video consulting session where we talk through your specific deal, questions, or strategy. Like everything else here, it is informational only — not legal, financial, tax, or insurance advice.
• Cancellation and refund policy: Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your scheduled call for a full refund. No refunds for no-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice — my time is blocked for you, and I show up ready.

6c. F&I Products Database — Founding Beta Subscription

• This is a $9/month recurring subscription, billed automatically each month until you cancel.
• You can cancel anytime, and you’ll keep access through the end of your current billing period.
• No partial-month refunds. When you cancel, billing stops — but we don’t prorate or refund the current month.
• This is a beta product. Content, features, and pricing for future subscribers may change as it develops. Your founding rate is honored as long as your subscription remains active.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

This Site links to and relies on services we don’t own or control, including affiliate partner sites, scheduling tools, and payment processing.

• Payments: All purchases are processed by Stripe. When you buy something, your payment is also subject to Stripe’s Terms of Service and privacy practices. We never see or store your full card details.
• Third-party sites: If you click a link that takes you off carrealtalk.com, you’re subject to that site’s terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of any third-party site or service.

8. No Warranties — “As Is”

This Site and everything on it is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.

I work hard to keep information accurate and current, but the car business changes fast, laws vary by state, and every deal is different. We do not guarantee that the Site will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any information will apply to your specific situation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Real Talk Media Group LLC, its owner, members, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including lost money on a car deal, lost profits, lost data, or any other loss — arising out of or related to your use of the Site or any of our products and services.

In any case, our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Site will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) fifty dollars ($50 USD).

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. In that case, our liability is limited to the maximum extent the law allows.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Real Talk Media Group LLC, its owner, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Site or our products and services; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) content you submit; or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Governing Law, Arbitration & Class-Action Waiver

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.

Informal resolution first. If we ever have a dispute, email us first — most problems get solved with an honest conversation. Please contact us and give us 30 days to resolve it before starting any formal proceeding.

Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Real Talk Media Group LLC agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site or our products will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer arbitration rules, rather than in court, except as stated below. The arbitration will take place in Georgia or, at your election, by telephone, video, or written submissions. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.

Class-action waiver. You and Real Talk agree that each may bring claims against the other only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person’s claims and may not preside over any form of a class or representative proceeding.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property or stop misuse of the Site. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from reporting a concern to a government agency.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing us your name and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these Terms.

This section affects your legal rights, including the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. Please read it carefully.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as the Site and our products evolve. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If a change is significant, we’ll also announce it in our newsletter and/or with a notice on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you don’t agree with a change, stop using the Site.

13. General Provisions

• Severability: If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in full effect.
• No waiver: If we don’t enforce a provision right away, that doesn’t mean we’ve waived our right to enforce it later.
• Entire agreement: These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy and Affiliate Disclosure, are the complete agreement between you and Real Talk Media Group LLC regarding the Site.
